The 23rd Psalm

This month we kicked off our CONNECT GROUPS which are Bible Study groups held in different people's homes. On Monday night, Steve and I attended one in one of our College young ladies' apartments to show our support. This was only her second one, she had invited several, but was not sure how many would come. We heard the buzzer sound, she went to the speaker and a ladies voice came on asking if this was where the meeting was. Natalia immediately buzzed her in the building. She opened her front door and in walked a lady and her 19 year old grandaughter! One of our Outreach teams had canvased the area on Saturday with flyers about the Connect Group meeting in their neighborhood. Helen received one and came! She thought that it was a neighborhood meeting and was taken back when we told her it was a Bible Study. They decided to stay. Later she told us that God had led them to the meeting. The group discussion at the beginning eased her and she even made some comments. The lesson was on fear. She told us that she needed to hear that. When we prayed together at the end, God's presence was felt in a mighty way. You could see the peace that He had brought to our new friends. God is so awesome in how He works. We are very excited about our CONNECT GROUPS and know that God is leading people to each of them on different nights of the week in different cities in this southbay area! Our prayer is that God will lead them fromt the north, the south, the east, and the west and do a mighty work in their lives! He is doing just that and showed us that when Helen and LaQuinta walked in on Monday night!

Just as Natalia began to teach the lesson, she read the 23rd Psalm and Helen told us that was her favorite passage. I then read a version that I have glued in the front flap of my Bible. Helen asked for a copy of it. I just typed it and e-mailed it to her. That's when I thought that I would blog it here today.

THE 23rd PSALM

The Lord is my Shepherd
That’s Relationship!
I shall not want
That’s Supply!
He maketh me to lie down in green pasture
That’s Rest!
He leadeth me beside the still waters
That’s Refreshment!
He restoreth my soul

That’s Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
That’s Guidance!
For His name sake
That’s Purpose!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
That’s Testing!
I will fear no evil
That’s Protection!
For Thou art with me
That’s Faithfulness!
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me
That’s Discipline!
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
That’s Hope!
Thou anointest my head with oil
That’s Consecration!
My cup runneth over
That’s Abundance!
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
That’s blessing!
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
That’s Security!
Forever
That’s Eternity!

The entire Psalm 23 Jewelry Collection http://www.psalm23jewelry.com is designed to become timeless and personal reminders of the comfort, hope, courage, faith, love and inspiration of
the 23rd Psalm. These beautiful pieces can help
make this powerful Bible passage part of your daily life, or for someone you love.

Each crystal and bead have been thoughtfully and prayerfully selected to relate to
passages from the 23rd Psalm.

We hope that each time you wear our jewelry, you'll reflect on God's
eternal Word and the hope it provides.

Laura Kramer states, "People often share their stories of how God is using our jewelry to provide hope, healing and blessings in numerous ways far beyond what we had ever anticipated. Their stories include the loss of a loved one, breast or ovarian cancer, military and armed forces personnel, depression, drug addiction and grief. The list continues to grow, both within the United States and around the world."
With each jewelry piece we include the Message of Hope CD that includes the message series Pastor Fraser gave, we hope it will inspire you and help you in your own spiritual growth. I also share a little bit of my story on the CD as well. Laura K Designs donates a portion of the proceeds back to ministries within Cucamonga Christian Fellowship reserved to help sponsor counseling and other Pastoral Care ministries.

The inspirational and original Psalm 23 Bracelet is composed of coordinating Swarovski ® crystals and sterling silver pieces including a cross charm and prayer box charm that opens to fit a tiny prayer inside. An optional Star of David charm may be substituted or added. This design is approximately 71/2" in length and is finished with a toggle clasp.
Our extended toggle clasp has 3 loops to choose from for a customized fit that may extend to approximately 8".

The Psalm 23 Jewelry Collection pieces arrive in a specially designed beautiful gift box accompanied by
a printed copy of the 23rd Psalm
and an inspirational compact disc CD, featuring a message of meaning
and hope drawn from one of the most familiar
and beloved passages of scripture, the 23rd Psalm.

This message, presented by Pastor Fraser Venter
of Cucamonga Christian Fellowship in Rancho Cucamonga, California,
served as the inspiration for your Psalm 23 Bracelet.

You'll also hear the touching personal testimony of the jewelry designer, Laura Krämer.
